Perpetual Movement Sound is the collaboration of Bilwa, a sound artist and electronic musician, and movement artist Emily Sweeney. We began working together in 2006. Currently, we are working internationally, generating research/ lab/ performance projects and actively cultivating opportunities for artists to work together on new interdisciplinary experiments. Collaboration and use of improvisation are central to our practice. We have performed and led workshops in North America, Europe, and Australia, including: New York City, Philadelphia, Mexico, Berlin, Turku, Helsinki, Melbourne, Vienna, Tallinn, Tartu, Sonderborg, Vilnius, and St. Erme.
