Aya Imamura: mapping

sound/map is a collaboration between Bilwa and Aya Imamura.

Bilwa produces 3-d sounds around Aya, using a sound system and raw materials.

Aya maps the qualities and architectural coordinates of these sounds, using a system of numbers and their placement on the page.

sound/map 1.0 and 2.0, at Schlöss Plüshow, DE

sound/map 3.0, 11/1/2013 at grüntaler9 in Berlin, included dancer Stina Nilsson. Aya also mapped her sounds produced by movement.

sound/map 4.0 will take place on 19/2/2013 as part of Velak Gala series in Vienna.
